Why do you what you do?
When it comes to “genuine Christians”, true followers of Christ, our love for Jesus creates a desire in us to glorify Him in everything (1 Corinthians 10:31). It is not our efforts but God’s Spirit (the Holy Spirit) at work in us that makes this possible!
Are you allowing the Holy Spirit to lead you in God’s will OR are you doing what you do for recognition and rewards on earth (Matthew 6:1-2)?
Does Jesus know you as a genuine disciple of His (Matthew 7:21-23)?
